każālika yūḥī ilaika wa ilal-lażīna min qablik(a), allāhul-‘azīzul-ḥakīm(u).
Thus Allah, Mighty, Wise, reveals to you and those before you.
lahū mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ(i), wa huwal-‘aliyyul-‘aẓīm(u).
To Him belongs all in heavens and earth; He is Exalted, Great.
takādus-samāwātu yatafaṭṭarna min fauqihinna wal-malā'ikatu yusabbiḥūna biḥamdi rabbihim wa yastagfirūna liman fil-arḍ(i), alā innallāha huwal-gafūrur-raḥīm(u).
The heavens nearly split above from His majesty; angels glorify their Lord, seeking forgiveness for those on earth. Truly, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
wal-lażīnattakhażū min dūnihī auliyā'allāhu ḥafīẓun ‘alaihim, wa mā anta ‘alaihim biwakīl(in).
Those who take protectors besides Allah, He watches them; you are not their guardian.
wa każālika auḥainā ilaika qur'ānan ‘arabiyyal litunżira ummal-qurā wa man ḥaulahā wa tunżira yaumal-jam‘i lā raiba fīh(i), farīqun fil-jannati wa farīqun fis-sa‘īr(i).
Thus We revealed to you an Arabic Qur’an to warn Mecca’s people and those around it, and to warn of the Day of Gathering, beyond doubt. Some enter Paradise; some enter Hell.
wa lau syā'allāhu laja‘alahum ummataw wāḥidataw wa lākiy yudkhilu may yasyā'u fī raḥmatih(ī), waẓ-ẓālimūna mā lahum miw waliyyiw wa lā naṣīr(in).
Had Allah willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His mercy. The wrongdoers have no protector or helper.
amittakhażū min dūnihī auliyā'(a), fallāhu huwal-waliyyu wa huwa yuḥyil-mautā, wa huwa ‘alā kulli syai'in qadīr(un).
Do they take protectors besides Him? Allah alone is the Protector; He revives the dead, powerful over all things.
wa makhtalaftum fīhi min syai'in faḥukmuhū ilallāh(i), żālikumullāhu rabbī ‘alaihi tawakkaltu wa ilaihi unīb(u).
Whatever you dispute, its judgment rests with Allah. Such is Allah, my Lord; in Him I trust, to Him I turn.
fāṭirus-samāwāti wal-arḍ(i), ja‘ala lakum min anfusikum azwājaw wa minal-an‘āmi azwājā(n), yażra'ukum fīh(i), laisa kamiṡlihī syai'(un), wa huwas-samī‘ul-baṣīr(u).
Creator of heavens and earth, He made pairs for you from yourselves and from cattle, multiplying you thus. Nothing resembles Him; He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
lahū maqālīdus-samāwāti wal-arḍ(i), yabsuṭur-rizqa limay yasyā'u wa yaqdir(u), innahū bikulli syai'in ‘alīm(un).
To Him belong the keys of heavens and earth; He expands or restricts provision for whom He wills. He knows all things.

He ordained for you the religion He enjoined on Noah, revealed to you, and enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Uphold faith, do not divide. Hard for idolaters is what you call them to. Allah chooses whom He wills for it, guiding those who turn to Him.
wa mā tafarraqū illā mim ba‘di mā jā'ahumul-‘ilmu bagyam bainahum, wa lau lā kalimatun sabaqat mir rabbika ilā ajalim musammal laquḍiya bainahum, wa innal-lażīna ūriṡul-kitāba mim ba‘dihim lafī syakkim minhu murīb(in).
They divided only after knowledge came, due to envy among them. Were it not for your Lord’s prior decree delaying punishment, they would have been judged. Those inheriting the Scripture after them are in deep doubt about it.

So call to faith, remain steadfast as commanded, follow not their desires, and say, I believe in Allah’s Books; I am ordered to judge justly among you. Allah is our Lord and yours. Our deeds are ours; yours are yours. No dispute between us; Allah will gather us, to Him we return.
wal-lażīna yuḥājjūna fillāhi mim ba‘di mastujība lahū ḥujjatuhum dāḥiḍatun ‘inda rabbihim wa ‘alaihim gaḍabuw wa lahum ‘ażābun syadīd(un).
Those who argue about Allah after faith is accepted, their argument is void before their Lord. Wrath and severe punishment await them.
allāhul-lażī anzalal-kitāba bil-ḥaqqi wal-mīzān(a), wa mā yudrīka la‘allas-sā‘ata qarīb(un).
Allah revealed the Qur’an with truth and the balance of justice. How do you know the Hour is not near?

Disbelievers hasten it, but believers fear it, knowing it is true. Those disputing the Hour are far astray.
allāhu laṭīfum bi‘ibādihī yarzuqu may yasyā'(u), wa huwal-qawiyyul-‘azīz(u).
Allah is gentle with His servants, giving provision to whom He wills; He is Strong, Mighty.

Whoever seeks the Hereafter’s reward, We increase it for them; whoever seeks this world’s gain, We grant some, but they have no share in the Hereafter.

Do they have deities prescribing a religion unapproved by Allah? Were it not for a decree postponing judgment, they would be judged. Wrongdoers face painful punishment.

You will see wrongdoers terrified by their deeds, punishment befalling them. Believers who do good dwell in Paradise’s gardens, gaining what they desire from their Lord. That is great bounty.

This is the good news Allah gives His believing, righteous servants. Say, I ask no reward for my call, only family affection. Whoever does good, We increase their goodness. Allah is Forgiving, Appreciative.

Do they say, He fabricated lies about Allah? If Allah willed, He could seal your heart. Allah erases falsehood, confirms truth with His words. He knows all hearts.

He answers believers who do good, adding to their reward from His bounty. Disbelievers face severe punishment.

Whom Allah lets stray finds no guide after Him. You will see wrongdoers, in punishment, saying, Is there a way back?

You will see them brought to the Fire, humbled by disgrace, glancing furtively, while believers say, The losers are those who lost themselves and families on Judgment Day. Wrongdoers face lasting torment.
wa mā kāna lahum min auliyā'a yanṣurūnahum min dūnillāh(i), wa may yuḍlilillāhu famā lahū min sabīl(in).
They have no protectors to help besides Allah. Whom Allah lets stray finds no path.

Answer your Lord’s call before a Day comes from Allah, unavoidable. That Day, no refuge exists, no denial of sins.

If they turn away, We sent you not as their keeper. Your duty is to convey. When We give man Our mercy, he rejoices; but when evil befalls due to his deeds, man is ungrateful.

To Allah belongs dominion of heavens and earth. He creates what He wills, granting daughters to whom He wills and sons to whom He wills,

or pairs them male and female, or makes whom He wills barren. He is Knowing, Powerful.

It is not for a human that Allah speaks directly, except by revelation, from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger revealing His will. He is Exalted, Wise.

Thus We revealed to you a Spirit by Our command. You knew not what Scripture or Faith was, but We made it a light guiding whom We will. You guide to the straight path,
Ṣirāṭillāhil-lażī lahū mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ(i), alā ilallāhi taṣīrul-umūr(u).
Allah’s path, to whom belongs all in heavens and earth. All affairs return to Allah.
