ulā'ika ‘alā hudam mir rabbihim wa ulā'ika humul-mufliḥūn(a).

Some people use idle talk to mislead from Allah’s path without knowledge, mocking it, and they will face a humiliating punishment.
wa iżā tutlā ‘alaihi āyātunā wallā mustakbiran ka'allam yasma‘hā ka'anna fī użunaihi waqrā(n), fabasyyirhu bi‘ażābin alīm(in).
When Our verses are recited to them, they turn away arrogantly, as if deaf, so announce to them a painful punishment.

He created the heavens without pillars you can see, set mountains on earth to stabilize it, spread all kinds of living creatures, and sent rain from the sky to grow every type of good plant.
hāżā khalqullāhi fa arūnī māżā khalaqal-lażīna min dūnih(ī), baliẓ-ẓālimūna fī ḍalālim mubīn(in).
This is Allah’s creation, so show Me what others besides Him have created; indeed, the wrongdoers are in clear error.

We gave Luqman wisdom to be grateful to Allah; whoever is grateful benefits themselves, and whoever is ungrateful, Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.
When Luqman advised his son, he said, My son, do not associate partners with Allah, for that is a great injustice.

We commanded humans to honor their parents; a mother bears her child in increasing weakness and weans in two years; be grateful to Me and your parents, for to Me is your return.

If they urge you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them, but treat them kindly in this world and follow the path of those who return to Me; to Me is your return, and I will inform you of your deeds.

Luqman said, My son, even if a deed weighs as little as a mustard seed, hidden in a rock, sky, or earth, Allah will bring it forth; indeed, Allah is Subtle, All-Aware.
yā bunayya aqimiṣ-ṣalāta wa'mur bil-ma‘rūfi wanha ‘anil-munkari waṣbir ‘alā mā aṣābak(a), inna żālika min ‘azmil-umūr(i).
My son, establish prayer, enjoin good, forbid evil, and be patient with what befalls you; these are matters of great importance.
wa lā tuṣa‘‘ir khaddaka lin-nāsi wa lā tamsyi fil-arḍi maraḥā(n), innallāha lā yuḥibbu kulla mukhtālin fakhūr(in).
Do not turn your face away from people in arrogance or walk proudly on earth; Allah does not love the boastful and proud.
waqṣid fī masy-yika wagḍuḍ min ṣautik(a), inna ankaral-aṣwāti laṣautul-ḥamīr(i).
Be moderate in your walk and soften your voice; the harshest of sounds is the braying of a donkey.

Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you all in the heavens and earth, perfecting His favors upon you, seen and unseen; yet some dispute about Allah without knowledge, guidance, or an enlightening Book.

When told to follow what Allah has revealed, they say, We follow what our ancestors did, even if Satan calls them to the torment of a blazing Fire.

numatti‘uhum qalīlan ṡumma naḍṭarruhum ilā ‘ażābin galīẓ(in).
We let them enjoy briefly, then compel them to a severe punishment.
