لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۚ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ فِيْ شَيْءٍ اِلَّآ اَنْ تَتَّقُوْا مِنْهُمْ تُقٰىةً ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسَهٗ ۗ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ الْمَصِيْرُ
lā yattakhiżil-mu'minūnal-kāfirīna auliyā'a min dūnil-mu'minīn(a), wa may yaf‘al żālika falaisa minallāhi fī syai'(in), illā an tattaqū minhum tuqāh(tan), wa yuḥażżirukumullāhu nafsah(ū), wa ilallāhil-maṣīr(u).
Nagh lhig da credjuee goaill ny credjuee myr ard-gheiney, agh credjuee. As quoi-erbee ta jannoo shoh, cha jean eh red erbee y gheddyn veih Allah, agh (y strategy) dy choadey oo hene veih red ta’d aggle orroo. As ta Allah cur raad diu jeh e (torment) hene, as gys Allah ta’n raad dy heet reesht.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۚ اَتُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ تَجْعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطٰنًا مُّبِيْنًا
yā ayyuhal-lażīna āmanū lā tattakhiżul-kāfirīna auliyā'a min dūnil-mu'minīn(a), aturīdūna an taj‘alū lillāhi ‘alaikum sulṭānam mubīnā(n).
O shiuish ta credjal! Nagh jean oo credjuee elley na credjuee myr ard-gheiney. Cre’n aght t’ou uss dy choyrt reason soilshey da Allah (dy stroie oo)?
۞ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُوْدَ وَالنَّصٰرٰٓى اَوْلِيَاۤءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءُ بَعْضٍۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّهُمْ مِّنْكُمْ فَاِنَّهٗ مِنْهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ
yā ayyuhal-lażīna āmanū lā tattakhiżul-yahūda wan-naṣārā auliyā'(a), ba‘ḍuhum auliyā'u ba‘ḍ(in), wa may yatawallahum minkum fa innahū minhum, innallāha lā yahdil-qaumaẓ-ẓālimīn(a).
O shiuish ta credjal! Na jean Iudeeyn as Creesteenyn dty chaarjyn firrinagh; t’ad coadey yn derrey yeh. Quoi-erbee jiuish ta jannoo ad nyn caraidey dy firrinagh, eisht t’eh dy jarroo nyn mast’oc. Dy firrinagh, cha vel Allah stiurey ny mee-chrauee.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوْا عَدُوِّيْ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ تُلْقُوْنَ اِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوْا بِمَا جَاۤءَكُمْ مِّنَ الْحَقِّۚ يُخْرِجُوْنَ الرَّسُوْلَ وَاِيَّاكُمْ اَنْ تُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ رَبِّكُمْۗ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِيْ سَبِيْلِيْ وَابْتِغَاۤءَ مَرْضَاتِيْ تُسِرُّوْنَ اِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَاَنَا۠ اَعْلَمُ بِمَآ اَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَآ اَعْلَنْتُمْۗ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْهُ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاۤءَ السَّبِيْلِ
yā ayyuhal-lażīna āmanū lā tattakhiżū ‘aduwwī wa ‘aduwwakum auliyā'a tulqūna ilaihim bil-mawaddati wa qad kafarū bimā jā'akum minal-ḥaqq(i), yukhrijūnar-rasūla wa iyyākum an tu'minū billāhi rabbikum, in kuntum kharajtum jihādan fī sabīlī wabtigā'a marḍātī tusirrūna ilaihim bil-mawaddah(ti), wa ana a‘lamu bimā akhfaitum wa mā a‘lantum, wa may yaf‘alhu minkum faqad ḍalla sawā'as-sabīl(i).
O shiuish ta credjal! Nagh jean oo My noidyn as dty noidyn nyn caraid dy firrinagh, dy vod oo (yn naidyn jeh Muhammad) y choyrt daue, son trustys; agh er-yn-oyr dy vel ad er n’eiyrt rish y firrinys v’er ny choyrt dhyt. Va’n Phadeyr as oo hene er ny stroie er-yn-oyr dy row oo er chredjal ayns Allah, dty Hiarn. Mannagh jed oo magh dy firrinagh dy streeu son My raad as dy hirrey My ghraih (na jean shen). Ta shiu gra roo (ny scansh jeh Muhammad) ayns secret, son trustys, as ta fys aym ny share cre ta shiu follit as cre ta shiu soilshaghey. As quoi-erbee jiuish ta jannoo myr shen, eisht dy firrinagh, t’eh er n’gholl ersooyl veih’n raad cooie.
