فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ اٰمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَآ اِيْمَانُهَآ اِلَّا قَوْمَ يُوْنُسَۗ لَمَّآ اٰمَنُوْا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنٰهُمْ اِلٰى حِيْنٍ

falau lā kānat qaryatun āmanat fa nafa‘ahā īmānuhā illā qauma yūnus(a), lammā āmanū kasyafnā ‘anhum ‘ażābal-khizyi fil-ḥayātid-dun-yā wa matta‘nāhum ilā ḥīn(in).

Why was there no city that believed and benefited from its faith, except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and granted them enjoyment for a time.
